Carrot Ginger Juice with Wild Orange Essential Oil
Alessia Blog, Essential Oils, Juices, Recipes Carrot juice, Orange essentail oil
This is my second favorite juice, a little bit sweeter than the Doctor’s Order but surely as
gingery as the green juice … ginger just can’t be missing in any of my juices!
I’ve made this juice several times before, but today I decided to add a few drops of
doTERRA Wild Orange essential oil and that was definitely a phenomenal idea: I
absolutely loved how the orange taste blends with all the other ingredients and gives the
juice an extra boost of flavor!
In order to reach the same consistency as the juice in the pictures, you need an actual
juicer: blending + straining works as well but the final result won’t be the same as using
a juicer.
Oh, and I have a new juicer that I received, again, as a gift! I guess I’m not meant to buy
one 🙂 It’s a stainless steel Breville Juicer, which works much faster and better than the
Jack LaLanne I had before. Definitely going to juice more now that I have my Breville!
Ingredients below make about 700ml to 1L of juice (depending on the size of the
fruits/veggies).
A glass of this juice first thing in the morning is definitely going to wake you up and give
you an energy boost: I find it perfect to start the day with this carrot juice as it is higher
in natural sugars, needed by our bodies more in the morning than in any other time of
the day (a glass of this juice before a workout, along with some protein and healthy fats,
works great too).

- Prepare all of the fruits and vegetables:
- Peel the carrots to remove the outside layer: you can avoid doing this and just wash them very well if you’re using organic or home-grown carrots. Cut off the ends.
- Wash the lemons very well and cut them in half or quarters, if they are particularly large.
- Peel the ginger and remove the dried ends, then cut it into large pieces that can easily fit into the pipe of the juicer.
- When everything is ready, you can start juicing.
- Once the juice is ready, mix well and add the drops of Wild Orange essential oil, then mix again and pour the juice into a bottle that can fit it all or divide it into as many portions as you wish to make.
- Enjoy!
If you have not checked out my Doctor’s Order Juice recipe, I recommend you to do so because all of the suggestions and notes I made for that juice are pretty much valid for this one as well 🙂
